TIM2 is a de facto image format developed by Web Technology Corp. for "PlayStation®2".
The format fully utilizes "PlayStation®2" hardware, supporting direct/indexed color image, alpha channel, multiple images, multiple CLUTs, and MIPMAP.
The authorized Developers and Tool vendors of PlayStation®2 can use TIM2 format and its plugins free of charge.
