Switch to show \/ hide wizard<\/h3>\n

A switch can be set to change between showing and hiding the installation wizard.<\/p>\n

Select wizard style<\/h3>\n

\"Select<\/a>A \u201cwizard\u201d style for the main self-extracting program<\/a> screen can be selected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
Classic style<\/th>\n\n

The classic style wizard introduced from Windows 95 has the same appearance as EXEpress CX 4.x and earlier.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

This option does not display the wizard and does not interact with the user but performs only the extraction<\/a> process and the automatic execution of the program after extraction.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

No wizard (silent mode)<\/th>\n\n

This option is a completely silent mode that does not display the wizard and does not issue any error messages. (The EXEPress self-extraction can be used with Desktop App Converter by using this)<\/p>\n

Note: When this option has been used, be aware that if the configuration file is not resaved after \u201cNo wizard (silent mode)\u201d is selected, it will be invalidated.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Change wizard panel image<\/h3>\n

\"change<\/a>\u00a0When [Classic Style]<\/span> or [Default Style]<\/span> is selected in the [Select wizard style]<\/span>, the panel image (the red part of the image on the right) displayed on the left side of the wizard screen changes.<\/p>\n

Click the [Browse Archive]<\/span> button to specify the image to use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
Classic style<\/th>\n\n

With the classic style, the image is used in general except for a few pages.<\/p>\n

This image uses a BMP image of about 140×260 pixels contained in the archive file<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Normally, this image is displayed by trimming to 119 x 201 pixels, but the trimming size is changed according to the size of the system font.<\/p>\n

For example, in a \u201cLarge Font\u201d environment, the size is about 138 x 253 pixels.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Default style<\/th>\n\n

With the Default style wizard, this image is displayed only on the start page and end page. The image is displayed from the top left of the wizard<\/p>\n

This image uses a BMP image of about 164 x 380 pixels contained in the archive file<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Normally, this image is displayed by trimming to 164 x 294 pixels, but the trimming size is changed according to the size of the system font.<\/p>\n

For example, in a \u201cLarge Font\u201d environment, the size is about 164 x 362 pixels.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Do not extract this file<\/h4>\n

The file used here should not be placed in the installation folder.<\/p>\n
