The [Detailed Settings: Processes before startup] dialog<\/span> box are to perform the settings to abort execution under specific conditions when the self-extracting executable file<\/a> is started.<\/p>\n

Startup restrictions<\/h3>\n

This allows the self-extracting executable file<\/a> to be executed only in specific environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
Require administrative rights<\/th>\n\n

A warning is displayed and the program does not run if the user does not have administrator rights.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Require Power Users rights or higher<\/th>\n\n

A warning is displayed and the program does not run if the user does not have Power User rights (or higher).<\/p>\n

In order to save the uninstall information in the system tree, the user needs Power User rights or higher. For this reason, this option must be ON when using the uninstaller<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Restrict the OS versions that can run the self-extracting executable file<\/th>\n\n

You can specify the Windows OS versions that can execute the self-extracting executable file<\/a>. For other OS versions, a warning is displayed and the program will not execute.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

<\/a>Do not run in 32-bit compatible mode on 64-bit systems<\/th>\n\n

64-Bit versions (x64 Edition) are compatible for running 32-bit programs. If this option is turned ON, a warning is displayed when trying to run on a 64-bit version of Windows and the self-extracting executable file<\/a> will not execute.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Validity check method for the self-extracting executable file<\/h3>\n

Specifies a method for the self-extracting executable file<\/a> to check whether it has been corrupted or modified when it is executed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

Does not check if the program has been corrupted or modified.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Check program CRC<\/th>\n\n

Checks the program CRC and displays a warning and will not execute if there is a discrepancy.<\/p>\n

Because the program will not execute if even one byte has been modified, virus infections, alterations, and download errors can be detected.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Check program digital signature (Authenticode) <\/th>\n\n

Checks the program digital signature (Authenticode) and displays a warning and will not execute if the signature is incorrect.<\/p>\n

* In order to use this function, the user must incorporate a signature (signcode.exe or signtool.exe provided by Microsoft) for the created self-extract<\/a>ing executable file.<\/p>\n

Also, systems that do not support checking digital signatures and systems that use older digital certificate data may not perform a proper check.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
