Version 6.6.0 Release Note (April 8th, 2021)

New Features

  • Weight Editor is now added.
    The weight editing function allows you to adjust the degree of influence (weight value) of any bone part on each vertex of the mesh part by entering numerical values or painting with a brush.
    Specifically, in cases such as fine-tuning the degree of bending of joints in the human body, or cases where the animation is affected by multiple bone parts, the animation can be performed without adding bone parts or splitting mesh parts.
    It can also be used in conjunction with partial auto weighting for easier and more flexible editing.

improvements

  • Layout
    • Zoom pivot is changed to mouse cursor position.
    • Performing reset view point command(F key by default) with part or vertex selection, view point focuses to the center of them.
  • Preview
    • Now preview window always shows topmost even than other floating windows.
  • Frame Control
    • Suppressed the rename window from being displayed unintentionally by the user. Also made it possible to close the rename window by clicking on the outside of it.
  • Project window
    • Suppressed the rename window from being displayed unintentionally by the user. Also made it possible to close the rename window by clicking on the outside of it.
  • Export to the specific version
    • Integerized bone length value when selected v6.0~6.4. * if the number is less than 1, it will be raised to 1.

Other changes

  • Preview
    • If a key with the independent option placed on not zero frame, playback frame position is reset when it arrives at the key frame.
      (Same behavior as Ver. 6.5.0 or earlier and UnityPlayer, etc.)
  • Instance-related
    • When the number of nested instance parts being drawn exceeds the stack limit, performs no warning dialog, but only log output, and the exceeded instance is not drawn.
  • An error reason displays when failed logfile initialization.

Fixes

The following defects have been fixed.

  • Opening preview window sometimes occurs freeze.
  • When loading a project contains instance part’s name includes colon, auto renaming performs wrong behavior that increases the numbering.
  • Mesh Editor: A meshed cell in the cellmap referencing to NPOT image cannot be shown correctly.(Degrade at v6.5.1)
  • Frame Control: “Delete Key” command by shortcut key sometimes cannot be performed after adding key then moving active part or frame.
  • Fixed other minor bugs.
