Alpha Blending Color Reduction Sample

24bit Full Color Image

+ =
24 bit full color image: the hardest for Alpha Blending Reduction to process.   The alpha channel to be added on the left image.
A gradation from 0 to 255.
The example of the left two images that are composed. Composed alpha value as transparent level.
The checked pattern behind is a background image seen through by transparency.

Alpha Blending Color Reduction 256 colors

+ =
Color reduction to 256 colors of the image above with Alpha Blending Color Reduction.   Extracted alpha values only from a color palette. The two colors of the same RGB value but having different Alpha values will be assigned independently as "different colors".   The example of the left two images that are composed. Compare with the image of 32 bit above!
iMageStudio can bring out such a high quality result under the hardest condition for color reduction without any problem!

Even for a 32 bit full color image with alpha channel, Alpha Blending Color Reduction will realize an 8 bit indexed color image in the one quarter data size of the original image! The fully optimized palette with alpha value will be also created; the effectiveness of alpha blending is the same as for the original full color image.

OPTPiX iMageStudio "Alpha Blending Color Reduction" is for sure to become the function you could never count out for your game development!
