Tool Windows and Sub-Toolbar| iMageStudio Easy to Use User Interface offers "Color
Chart Window", "Palette Entry Window", "Information
Window", "Mode Select Window" "Palette Tool
Window" "Assistant Viewer Window", "Pen Selection
Window", and "Layer/Palette List Window" as Tool
Windows. You can place them wherever you want. "Color Chart
Window" allows you to switch back and forth among "RGB",
"HLS", "PALETTE", and "CUSTOM".
On "PALETTE" and "CUSTOM", you can use any
file or the part of the image as a color chart instead. "Sub Toolbar" is a collection of buttons laid out at the upper side of the image window. "Sub Toolbar" on an image is for image related function buttons, and the palette related function buttons are on the palette. They are for most frequently used functions to access instantly: "ON/OFF Alpha" and "Arrange Palette". |

Other Useful Tool Windows|
Three more new Tool Windows are added to improve smoother editing process. Assistant Viewer It allows diverse applications for image adjustments, such as viewing a zoomed image or an alpha blending display while editing. Pen Selection Window This Tool Window let you switch pen width, shape and the object to draw on at once. For "Tile Drawing" of drawing with two colors dithering, you can select the density from 15 levels, which brings iMageStudio into action for indexed image drawing. Layer/Palette List Window All layers and palettes of an active image become in thumbnails. Checking their contents and switching them over can be managed with the Tool Window swiftly. Names of Layers and Palettes are editable individually. |

Synchronized Image Viewer ("Sync Image View") | You can handle synchronized operation on images created from the same image regardless of their window sizes and file formats. The synchronization includes zooming and scrolling the images. Apply this handy option to compare and check images of before and after a certain process. |

Key Customization| Assign variety of useful iMageStudio functions on function keys to avoid repetitive routine works by menus, but too much to create macros. Because these repetitive processing is obligatory for video game creation, the function is in fact very handy. For instance, assign any number of color reduction options as macro files in function keys to call complicated functions instantly. Such iMageStudio functions will largely cut your image editing work time. * "Shift + Alphabet Key" is also available for assigning functions. |

Macro: Batch Job| Filter processing of iMageStudio Color Reduction Processing concerns more of the results than their time consumption, which result producing high quality images. By using Macro Function of automatic execution process, various color reduction processes can be operated altogether. iMageStudio supports the functions such as "Check time stamp prior to the processing", which skips processing not renewed files, and "Output Log", which outputs the results of the executions. To shorten processing time for operating bunch of color reduction, iMageStudio may change priority of threads for color reduction process when using Windows XP/2000. |
